Event Information
Day of registration, event check-in, and packet pick up will begin at 8AM at Allen Hall (355 Oakland Street) on the Evansdale Campus. That day, payment can be received via cash, check, or credit/debit card.

Registration and check-in will close at 8:45AM and the 5k will start promptly at 9AM. The top 3 finishers will receive a placement award. Following the 5k, we have a Fun Run, which is a 1 mile long out-and-back course. All participants in the fun run will receive a finisher medal.

ABOUT US
The West Virginia Chapter for the Student Academy of Audiology (SAA) is hosting its 8th annual MountainEAR 5k! This is the only event in Morgantown that focuses on communicative disorders, which is one of the most common disabilities in the United States. Proceeds will benefit clients of the WVU Hearing Clinic, other SAA related activities, and the Hugh Lindsay Hearing Aid Fund. This clinic provides complete diagnostic and rehabilitative services to its clients suffering from hearing disorders. It also serves as an educational workplace; providing undergraduate and graduate students opportunities to gain a variety of experience in keeping with their interests and abilities in the field of audiology.
